My new YouTube channel: Bored Monkey Mind

I am pleased to share the launch of my new YouTube channel, created as a calm accessible space for slowing down and reconnecting with the present moment through real natural video content.

The idea behind the channel is simple: to offer videos that invite the viewer to watch, listen, breathe, and simply be. There is nothing to achieve, nothing to perform, and nothing to fix. If attention drifts — as it naturally does — the invitation is simply to notice that and gently return back to the video.

In my work as a therapist, I see how necessary it is for people to have an opportunity to step out of constant stimulation and into a calmer state of presence. Nature is a profound source of strength, particularly in the Finnish context. It supports regulation, reflection, and restoration, while also reminding us of the value of quiet and unstructured mental space.

My channel is called “Bored Monkey Mind” for a reason. Today, boredom is often treated as something to avoid. Yet the ability to pause without immediate input is closely connected to recovery, emotional balance, and creativity. My channel is intended as a space where that capacity can be supported and practised.

It offers a space for mindfulness, reflection, rest, or simply a quieter rhythm of attention — for my therapy clients, for professional colleagues, and for anyone seeking a moment of calm in daily life.

All videos are 100% real, with no AI, and presented in 4K whenever possible.
