Fed up with AI-generated looped “nature” videos?
Don’t get me wrong — I like AI, and I use it almost every day for work. It can be incredibly useful. But when it comes to unwinding after a long day or truly immersing myself in the feeling of being in nature, it just doesn’t compare to the real thing.
For me, there’s something special about real-time, real-world nature — the beauty in its imperfections, the shifting light, the natural sounds, and those small unexpected moments that make it feel alive. That’s what helps me slow down and relax. AI-generated or looped footage may look beautiful at first, but after 30 seconds, its artificial perfection starts to feel repetitive and emotionally flat.
Maybe I’m old-fashioned, but for mindfulness and ambience, I’ll always prefer the real thing.
What do you think?
Do AI-generated nature videos help you relax, or do you also prefer authentic, unedited real-life footage?
